Although not directly related to Prince of Whales, I received a call today from a performer who was in the finals of a well-known American music competition television show. I'll audition within the next few weeks or so. At this point it would be silly to give more details but I'll let you know how it goes :)

As far as wanting to sell products at a show/gig goes, I would ask every artist involved with the band their vision for what they want to portray through the music that is created. Maybe their will be some causes that each person supports or believes in and they would like to raise awareness by advertising at shows and selling products that would help that cause. After discussing each person has for the band what they hope to acheive there may be some similiarities that will give shape to the band. I know that when I attended a guster concert they gave out samples of items that were environmentaly friendly such as petroleum free chapstick.
